Description: Many children have become even more vulnerable in Haiti due to Coronavirus. Life was already challenging and precarious before the pandemic added extra pressures. The pandemic has done so much damage at an international level: many deaths and many job losses abroad, with the knock on effect that those who used to support children in Haiti, can now no longer respond to their needs. Unfortunately all of these tragic factors lead to many more vulnerable young people in Haiti. The overall goal of this Child Support Centre Programme is to nurture and guide 100 vulnarable children to become responsible, honest, conscientious citizens, so that they can benefit society and work for the well-being of their country. The programme has the specific goal of educating children aligned with a supportive social project that aims to prevent these young people dropping out of education.
